Posted on

Do you need to request a reasonable accommodation under the Fair Housing Act to end your lease early? If you do, please answer the questions below to generate a letter you can send to your landlord.

After you answer the questions and click submit, you will be redirected to a new webpage where you can download the letter.

Please download the letter. Then send the letter to your landlord. We recommend via certified mail and/or email.

Languages: this Early Lease Termination Request Tool is available in English and Spanish. Be aware that DRTx recommends that you provide your request in a language understandable to the party or entity receiving it, which in most circumstances will be English.
